A MOTHER’S LOSS!!

Share

I shook her gently once more,
As I watched her hazel eyes bedazzle,
For she clung to my blue scarf,
Like it was life itself,
Oh! I shook her lifeless body once more,
As tears rolled in balls down my cheek,
As her mother drooped and screamed miserably,
I couldn’t help but feel guilty,
If only I had walked in earlier,
If only someone else had bothered to care,
A little angel would not be lifeless,
A mother would not have had to suffer such fate,
Oh my !!!
She screamed her lungs out as she rambled,
As she remembered all those that never gave,
How she wished so much for a change,
For the world and the souls in it,
For her pain, and others that have been in her shoes,
Is immeasurable,
You,you,you,
You could have stopped that,
If only you knew,
If only you responded to the call,
This would have been a different story.
