Here’s my heart,
Loyalty and truth embedded in his chambers,
Hold my hands,
They say friends are paramount to survival,
Your eyes speak the sacred language of hearts,
Your tongue gushes trust,
He who finds a friend has found a good thing?
On the trickster’s boat, I dined,
The waters swallowed our boat,
‘Hand me the second life jacket’,
You swam faster,
‘Please hand me the life jacket’,
You put it over yourself.
Two jackets; one man,
You swam farther and farther,
At the mercy of the sea,
My body- the traitor,
My lungs- in sync with the ocean’s waves.
My eyes merges with the sky,
Is this death?
Darkness at her core,
Eyes open- glitters of gold, warmth and safety,
Is this heaven?
Sharks can save lives,
Dragging me into the golden castle,
Now I dine in Olympus,
While you rot beneath the earth,
How sweet is betrayal?
Truly a blessing in disguise.
