THE LIGHT IN THE DARKNESS; If Your Tears Can Cry, Then It Can Smile…
Share

Oh stranger,
Lovely tunes played from miles away,
Letters mailed from land to air,
Seeking friendship or another great end,
These doors are always locked,
Opening it shakes Valhalla,
Entering awakens Odin and Freya,
Whisper not my name
For I know not how to hear it,
Call not my grace
For she knows not how to respond.
Words dipped in maple syrup and honey,
Sweetness is thy core element,
Darkness is my sweet harbor,
A flash of light leaves you behind the door,
Locked out,
Cold and misunderstood,
Your screams are heard at the seven gates of heaven,
Your sadness is felt in core of Antartica.
In this darkness,
Lays a bosom of light,
Filled with strawberries and ice cream,
Sweetness engulfed in blue roses,
Cotton candy and macaron in the air,
Junk food but sweet soul food,
This sweet harbor has been poisoned
One too many times,
Pain like that makes your tears cry.
A place like this is dangerous in a world like ours,
That’s why all strangers see in here is darkness,
That’s why their feet are trophies- sacrifice,
Doors locked; safety engulfs my soul,
Lightens my heart,
Keeps the jar of red wine safe.
Dear stranger,
Our lips never sang the same tune,
Nor were they connected by wavelengths,
I hold no promise
Neither do I harbor disinterest,
Safe adventure is the passcode here,
A deter from it, is an exit code,
Utter not my name,
Gaze not upon my face,
Till you grasp the foundation,
The light of the sky elopes,
My house and the world are in sync,
Sweet dark valley is the place to be.
